Any Miami vs Chicago game is physical, this game was the same, 6 Heat players ending up on the floor in the first 6 minutes of the game. But the Heat seemed to control this game throughout. it was an enjoyable game with good back and forth action and as i said, it was physical. Miami already clinched the playoffs, they didn’t need a victory, but they still battled and went on to win.
In the second half i was liking Miami’s defense, they where defending well and they turned a lot of defensive plays into attacking plays for them selves and made points from doing so. Miami had a few sloppy plays at the beginning of the third quarter, giving the bulls two chances for 4 points. But Miami where still very in control of the game, Miami controlled the ball game, besides one point in the third quarter they went 1 point behind, soon to being it back on go ahead of the Bulls. Miami led the Bulls 86 – 77 at the end of the third. Miami had a shooting percentage of 59% and the Bulls had 40%.
In the fourth quarter Miami again controlled the game, they seemed to not have any problems with the bulls. But although the bulls aren’t playing with their strongest team, i didn’t think the bulls where playing well, but to their credit they did ‘hang’ with the bulls still, by no means was it a blow out. With 1 minute left in the game Mike Miller scored a 3 pointer and Lebron James scored 2 points from the free throw putting the final nail in the coffin of the Bulls. Miami victorious against the Bulls, winning their 36th home game this season in a physical enjoyable game.
